  • Working hours 8:45am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Dispensing Assistant
We are recruiting for Dispensing Assistants at our Wymondham & Norwich Practices 
The principal aspects of the Dispensing Assistant role are:

Interpret optical prescriptions
Give advice to patients on lens type, frames and styling
With further training, fit contact lenses and give advice on their care and use
Take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
Advise patients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed
With further training, fit contact lenses and give advice on their care and use  
Check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specifications
Work collaboratively with team members and management colleagues in order to meet the objectives of the business
Dispensing experience is essential for the Dispensing Assistant role
Good telephone manner, smart appearance and good interpersonal skills are a necessity.

    Cecil Amey Opticians are recruiting for Optical Assistant/ Receptionist for our busy Wymondham Practice.
    The principal aspects of the Optical Assistant/ Receptionist role are:

    Meet and greet patients and assist with enquiries
    Take phone calls and manage appointments
    Operate the cash till, cheques and electronic payments
    Maintain all required databases and records
    Undertake minor adjustments or repairs to spectacles as required
    Pre-screen patients
    Good telephone manner, smart appearance and good interpersonal skills are a necessity
    Previous Optical receptionist experience would be valued.
