Low Vision Assessments

We are delighted to offer this specialist service to patients. Currently available in our Watton practice and with home visits  also offered, we are finding this an increasingly popular service. Our practice manager and dispensing optician, Annette Ball, is a highly qualified specialist within this field.

A Low Vision Assessment will help determine what an individual with a visual impairment may be offered to assist them. Our practitioner will assess the patient's visual function, which will include measurement of their Visual Acuity (both near and distance), Contrast Sensitivity and Functional Visual Fields.
